The victim gave the bully back

This is a translation of my poem “Mobbeofferet tok igjen”. On the Internet and in the media it has been shown a video of Casey Heyne, who is being bullied by the younger Ritchard Gale. Casey fifteen years old seems to suddenly get enough. Because he grabs Casey around his waist, lifting him up and throws him to the ground, then he turns and goes away. This inspired me to write this poem.

The victim gave the bully back.

Others bullied Casey a boy of fifteen,
For this, we could bullies at his school blame,
But then one day he reached a limit,
And he switched on an other way.

The bully Ritchard  struck Casey in the face,
While the victim Casey just stood still,
Then it ran over for Casey at fifteen,
He holds Ritchard around his waist and squeezed,

Then he threw him to the ground and walk away,
Ritchard an injury in his leg got,
Expelled from school for three days were both,
While many of the episode was laughing.

What can one say about this,
Did Casey do the right thing,
Both did do violence to the other,
And for that we can blame them both.

Accepting violence should never happen,
About others, we must never pray,
The exception is to defend your life,
For no one has the right to take that from you.

But Casey was not fighting for his life,
Therefore we can blame him
But Ritchard began to beat
Therefore he must be most blamed
